People’s Hurricane Relief - Canvassed shelters, hotels, FEMA trailers. Facilitated Trauma Resilience Circles. Convened city-wide housing town hall meeting. Provided media exposure that ended hotel evictions. Supported evacuees in developing ride-sharing collective. Created a coalition of evacuees, non-profits, governmental agencies, and media that resulted in bus lines to isolated FEMA trailers.
