Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have experienced waves of shutdowns, slowdowns, "new normals," and illness in the cultural economy community. Our musicians, our venues, our small businesses, our families, and our city have been affected. Venues and Performers have collaborated to create the Live Guide tool to provide audience members with information about the different strategies that different venues are using to provide accessibility to live music and performance during the pandemic.
Our hope is that customers can make informed decisions, venues can learn from each other's strategies, strategies that are working can be highlighted, and that live music can be accessible.
What we've accomplished:

- A survey developed in collaboration with venues, artists, and Dr. Déry (musician and infectious disease specialist).
- Pilot live guide developed
- Participation by 15 venues in the initial survey
- Development of initial Partnerships in the Cultural Arts Community
- Launch of survey to more venues
- Seeking more partners
- Launch of Guide
- Highlight local venues who are using creative strategies to provide safe and accessible music
